In November 2015, ANAFRA delivered a total of 22 servers in eight different configurations to Charles University. These were very diverse configurations including, in particular, ten 1U concept servers, fitted with one or two processors, SSDs, 128GB RAM and SFP + connectivity.

It was an honor for us to participate in the opening of a new server room in Troja, Prague, belonging to the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague.

The delivery also included storage servers with a total capacity of 576TB, which we realized using 4x 4U server, each of which was equipped with 36x 4TB SAS 3 hard drives. This mass storage has been built entirely on the latest SAS 3 technologies and SFP + connectivity.

Technically most interesting were the four Supermicro FatTwin servers delivered, it is a concept of 4U servers, allowing each server to have eight independent nodes. Together, the four servers were equipped with 64x Intel Xeon E5-2630V3 265x 16GB RAM ECC REG 2133Mhz, 32x SSD Intel S3700 series and 32x 1TB 2´5 storage drives. Each server is powered by 4x 1620W power supplies with efficiency "platinum" (94 +%)
