SSDs are drives with no moving parts that use flash memory technology - the same technology as traditional USB flash drives or phone memory. Compared to traditional HDDs, they are faster, more reliable and less prone to failure.
SSD - SATA + SAS
SATA or SAS SSD disks are ideal for applications where the fastest read and write speeds do not play the same role as affordability - delivering lower failure rates and greater reliability. These disks are primarily available in 2.5” form factor, so they are compatible with hot-swap slots designed for HDDs.
SSD - NVMe 2,5"
NVMe drives utilize the PCI Express interface to maximize flash memory potential and deliver the fastest SSD speeds available - NVMe drives are up to 2x faster than SAS and up to 6 times faster than SATA drives. They are available in both traditional PCI-e and compact M.2 formats.
SSD - M.2
SSD disky s rozhráním M.2 jsou kompatibilní jak se SATA, tak i s PCI Express. Stávají se tak více flexibilní možností. Nalézt je můžeme i s technologií NVMe.
SSD - NF1
Disky s technologií NF1 jsou optimalizovány ke splnění požadavků náročných aplikací díky vysoké kapacitě a malé velikosti. Systémy 1U jsou díky NF1 disponovat kapacitou až 576 TB (až 6x více oproti 2U s klasickými SSD).
SSD - EDSFF
Technologie EDSFF posouvá dosavadní NVMe na novou úroveň díky zvýšené hustotě dat a lepšímu tepelnému zpracování. To umožňuje až 6x větší propustnost a 7x menší odezvu oproti klasickým SSD diskům.
SSD - AIC
AIC (Add-in-Card) SSD disky fungují jako přídavné karty, které se zapojují do PCI Express sběrnice.
